Furrever & After

Cat Sanctuary!

Saving The Forgotten. Fighting For The Fragile. Creating Furrevers.

Furrever & After Cat Sanctuary is a foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue in Ohio founded in 2020 dedicated to saving special needs cats, neonatal kittens, and vulnerable community cats through TNR.

Because every life matters — even the smallest, sickest, or overlooked.

Our Impact

Every number represents a life that was given a second chance.

What we do

At Furrever & After Cat Sanctuary, we focus on the cats others often overlook — the fragile, the medically complex, the abandoned, and the tiniest fighters just days old.

Through our foster-based rescue model, we provide:

Specialized Medical Care

We take in special needs and high risk cats requiring advanced veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term support.

Neonatal Kitten Rescue

Through our Fight for Furrever Program, we bottle-feed and medically stabilize orphaned newborns who would not survive without intensive care.

Trap -Neuter-Return (TNR)

Our Once Upon A Feline TNR program humanely reduces community cat overpopulation while improving colony health and stability.

Safe Foster Placement & Adoption

Every cat in our care is placed into a loving approved foster home where they receive socialization, medical support, and preparation for their forever family. We are committed to saving lives responsibly, ethically, and substantially — because every cat deserves a chance.

Learn About Our Programs

Why We’re Different

We don’t just rescue. We build second chances.

  • We take cases others turn away
  • We transport up to an hour away for affordable care through our TNR program
  • We are structured and program-driven
  • We prioritize sustainable rescue, not intake overload
  • We are deeply community connected

Sanctuary Campaign

Furrever & After Cat Sanctuary is working toward opening a small brick-and-mortar location that will serve as a safe, healing space for 10–15 cats at a time, with a special focus on those with medical or special needs.

This cozy, home-like environment will allow us to provide daily care, host meet-and-greets, hold small fundraisers, and welcome the community into our mission.

It’s a vital first step toward creating a permanent sanctuary for the cats who need us most—and a more personal way for adopters and supporters to connect with our rescue.

With your help, we can make this dream a reality—one pawprint at a time.
